Zoë Edwards

Zoë Edwards is a dance artist, freelance model and creative based out of Toronto, Ontario. As a model she has worked in New York and LA, for brands such as Allbirds, Glossier, and Commes des Garcons. She’s had the pleasure of modelling for major clean and vegan beauty brand MOB Beauty, and other local skincare brands like Maison Wolfberry, and more.

Zoë has been dancing professionally since 2017, her dance training spans from Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Heels, commercial choreography and beyond. She joined several pre-professional training companies such as the OIP Dance Company and DARK Dance Company to expand her training while attending the University of Toronto where she acquired a Bachelor of Arts. (Hons.), majoring in Political Science with a minor in History and Creative Expression. Some of her credits include Disney’s Sneakerella, DanceOntario, Ainsi Va Manu (tv show), Canada’s Walk of Fame, Fashion Art Toronto and many more.

Through modelling and working with various makeup artists, Zoë has developed a deeper curiosity and appreciation for skincare and makeup products. She recently had the opportunity to develop and create her very own lipstick (wow right!), called M95(for the year she was born), in collaboration with MOB Beauty (one of the founder’s is the chemist behind M.A. C’s most iconic products). Her appreciation for all things skincare and beauty products has led her to become a bit of an enthusiast and given her the opportunity to collaborate with other brands like Youth To The People, 19/99 Beauty and more.

Regardless of her choreographing, teaching, dancing or modelling, Zoë sees collaboration, as an opportunity to grow as a creative. Whether it’s working with a photographer and stylist to bring a shoot to life or being a part of a team to choreograph and direct a dance film, these opportunities to see how other fellow artists think and create, foster growth even in the subtlest of ways and for her, that is what art(in any form) is about. Expansion of the mind, sharing of the soul and creating from the heart.
