Movement is my medium. I direct it, perform it, and teach it.

Zoë is a movement artist, choreographer and director. She has danced professionally since 2017, with training across ballet, contemporary, hip hop, heels and commercial choreography. Her directing work includes AGAPE, a short dance film she directed and choreographed, which won Best Film at the Experimental, Music & Dance Festival in 2022. Her choreography appears in On A Sunday at Eleven, the Oscar-qualifying short film that premiered at TIFF. She also led creative direction and choreography for Nicole Chambers’ Warm Body, and has choreographed two music videos and multiple live performances for pop/R&B artist Unica. As a performer she has featured in Disney’s Sneakerella; Free Up! Emancipation Day, a CBC special celebrating Black Canadian artists; Drake’s NOKIA; Fashion Art Toronto; Dance Ontario; and halftime shows for the Raptors and Maple Leafs. She performed at Canadian Tire’s 100th anniversary, dancing and singing behind Deborah Cox, Michael Bublé and Jann Arden. She trained with pre-professional companies including OIP Dance Company and DARK Dance Company while completing a BA (Hons) in Political Science at the University of Toronto. When she isn’t performing, Zoë facilitates dance workshops and teaches barre, sharing movement with people who want to expand how they use their bodies and deepening their connection with self.
